Boating typically takes 30–45 minutes round trip to Tal Barahi Temple. Best visited in the early morning or late afternoon for calm water and soft light.

Tal Barahi Temple A two-story pagoda temple sitting on a small island in the middle of Phewa Lake, dedicated to the goddess Durga in her Barahi form. It's one of the most important religious sites in the Pokhara valley and only reachable by boat, making the short crossing part of the experience.

Sarangkot Pokhara's most famous viewpoint, sitting at around 1,600 meters above sea level with an uninterrupted panorama of the Annapurna Himalaya, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre. Sunrise here is the highlight of most Pokhara itineraries; sunset is a quieter, equally rewarding alternative. It's also Nepal's top paragliding launch site.

Davis Falls Known locally as Patale Chhango, this waterfall plunges into an underground channel and disappears from view, feeding into the Gupteshwor Cave system below. The falls are most powerful during and just after monsoon season (June to September).

Gupteshwor Cave A limestone cave system connected to Davis Falls, containing a sacred Shiva lingam shrine and dramatic rock formations, including a chamber where you can see and hear the waterfall from below. Wear sturdy shoes, as some sections can be slippery.

World Peace Pagoda One of over 80 peace pagodas built worldwide by the Nippon Myohoji Buddhist order, this pure-white stupa sits on a ridge above Phewa Lake with sweeping views of Pokhara, the lake, and the Annapurna range. It's reached by boat and a moderate uphill walk of around 45 minutes, or a longer drive around the lake.

Bindhyabasini Temple An important Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Bhagwati, located in Old Pokhara Bazaar. Its white-domed shikhara-style architecture and hilltop setting make it a peaceful stop away from the busier Lakeside area.

Seti Gorge A dramatic, narrow river gorge carved by the Seti Gandaki River, visible from several points around the city, including near the K.I. Singh Bridge in central Pokhara. The gorge is so deep and narrow in places that the river disappears from view entirely.
